Abstract
This study, located in the field of education, focuses on the integration of digital culture in school environments, examining how the insertion of digital technologies can revolutionize pedagogical practices and adapt teaching to contemporary demands. The main objective is to investigate the impacts and challenges of adopting digital culture in schools and identify effective strategies for its implementation. The methodology adopted is qualitative, including analysis of case studies in institutions that have already incorporated digital educational practices, complemented by a systematic literature review to support discussions and provide a robust theoretical context. This theoretical framework is based on Ausubel's Theory of Meaningful Learning and constructivism theories. The results reveal that the successful integration of digital culture facilitates more dynamic and interactive learning, promoting critical skills such as critical thinking, creativity and problem solving. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of continuous training of educators so that they can effectively integrate new technologies into the curriculum and adapt their teaching methodologies to maximize the benefits of digital education. The research also highlights the need to review assessment methods to reflect the digital skills acquired by students.
